Mike Fidler’s Complete Soft Food, when mixed with Birds R US Sprouting Mixes, supplies all the required nutrition for your bird when offered with a species appropriate dry seed mix, calcium grit, and water.  With a view to avoiding diet imbalances such as hypervitaminosis, do not use artificial nutritional supplements while feeding Mike Fidler’s Complete Soft Food. 

This research grade formula contains all nutritional elements known to science, including:

• A high protein value consisting of all essential amino acids allowing for the synthesis of over 600 proteins, minimizing or eliminating the need for live food in some species.

• All essential vitamins with emphasis on Vitamin E for fertility & Vitamin D3 for the assimilation of calcium.

Directions

Mike Fidler’s Complete Soft Food is a highly concentrated nutritionally balanced soft food.  It is suitable for Finches, Budgies, Canaries, Softbills, Small Parrots and Parakeets.  Depending on the species & season, Mike Fidler’s Complete Soft Food can be fed in the following ways:

• Finches, Budgies & Canaries:  Combine a mix of 1 Part Soft Food to 4 Parts Birds R US Sprouting Mixes.  Freeze the mixture until ready to feed.

• Softbills:  Sprinkle over live food, or gutload live food (by feeding the Soft Food to live food) prior to presenting to birds.

• Small Parrots & Parakeets:  Sprinkle over fresh fruit, sprouted seed or greens.

• During the Breeding & Molting Season Mike Fidler’s Complete Soft Food should be supplied on a daily basis at the ratio of half a teaspoon of mix per 15 grams of bird.  Feed as much as will be eaten in 24 hours when adults are feeding nestlings.  Provide fresh daily.

• During the Maintenance & Resting Season Mike Fidler’s Complete Soft Food should be supplied twice a week at the ratio of half a teaspoon of mix per 15 grams of bird.

• Do not feed Mike Fidler’s Complete Soft Food during periods of Austerity.

You may need patience to train your birds to take a supplement food.  It may be necessary to start them off by removing normal sources of food & provide only supplement food for two hours first thing in the morning.  After 2 hours, return normal sources of food.  After 2 weeks of feeding in this way most birds will eat the supplement readily.
