"Zebra Finch Sunset"
This lovingly detailed flock of zebra finches is a high quality, limited edition print of an original watercolor painting suitable for collecting. It is double matted, mounted on foam board, sealed in a protective envelope, and ready for framing. The outer mat is an ivory color and the inner mat is a soft gray-brown that echoes the wing color of the finches. The outside dimensions are 11 in. x 14 in.
Artist’s Inspiration: "I have always liked to picture my Zebra finches living outdoors as they would in their native Australia. I chose the oranges in this painting to give a feel of the Australian outback. The flock here is assembling at sunset so they can share their adventures of the day and then retire to their nests with their mates."
